Ceramic classes
The classes I teach are private classes hosted in my home studio in Farringdon, London.
As I'm a potter part-time, there is limited availability, making the opportunity all the more unique.
If you want to book a class, please check the schedule below before you do!
There are different classes to choose from, you can either build ceramics by hand or by wheel and you can have a one-on-one lesson or a class for 2.

Single Class Package
If you book only one class the price includes me finishing your thrown piece(s) by trimming, glazing and firing it for you.
Multiple Class Package
The multiple class package is perfect for those who want to learn about the entire process of producing a piece of ceramics and want to do every step themself.

2 Handbuilding classes
2 x 2.5hr Class for one / Class for two
In this package, you will spend the first class creating all the forms you want to make using 'slab building, ' 'pinching' or 'kurinuki' techniques and in the second class you will get to glaze and paint what you created. Please note that these classes need to be a minimum of 2 weeks apart.
This course is perfect for those who are interested in starting to make ceramics by hand but don't know where to start. Once you have the skills to make your own ceramics you can also choose to make them at home and rent the kiln to fire your pieces.

3 Throwing classes
3 x 2.5hr Class for one
To create a pot completely by yourself when wheel-throwing, you will need three classes. In the first class you will throw the forms on the wheel, in the second you will trim them scraping off curls of clay to refine the shape, also on the wheel, and in the third you apply the glaze to finish your pot. Please note that the second class is best booked as soon after the first as possible and the final class at least 2 weeks after the second.

I post available slots 2 months in advance, so do check back regularly if everything is booked up.
Classes will only go ahead if regulation permits. If the government imposes a restriction that means your class can't go ahead, I will contact you and we'll look to re-schedule.
